THe studio is moving
After nearly 9 wonderful years in Artist Alley, my studio location is officially closed as of May 1, 2026. I am currently in the planning stages for a brand-new studio space. While I prepare for this next chapter, I am continuing to paint and am available for new projects.
I am an artist based in Columbia, Missouri, with a focus on oil painting and an interest in capturing landscapes and nature, cityscapes, architecture, and technical structures. My work explores the intersection of color, texture, and scale to convey energy and mood—ranging from expansive urban scenes to detailed, illustrative realism.
Art in the District
While my physical gallery is in transition, you can still see my work in the Arts District at these locations:
Wishes & Reflections: Located in the Wish Tree Courtyard, this 70′ x 30′ mural celebrates our community by reflecting iconic landmarks like the Tiger Hotel, Ernie’s Diner, Jesse Hall, the Mizzou columns, and City Hall. The mural features a giant wish tree adorned with painted hangtags that present messages and wishes I gathered from people across the country.
The Three Fates: Located on the exterior of Orr Street Studios, this 48” x 96″ mural panel is a collaboration with artist Tootie Burns. While Tootie provided the concept, we co-painted the piece, with her work during the foundational stages allowing me to bring the final trompe l’œil mosaic details to life. Though it appears to be a physical mosaic, the effect is achieved entirely through paint.
I continue to work in a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, and pastels, and I am always available to discuss new commissions or available prints.
