Harley Park no.1

9″ H x 12” W Soft Pastel on Board

This soft pastel painting depicts Harley Park in Boonville, Missouri, featuring one of its ancient Hopewell Indian mounds. The artwork evokes serenity and calm, showcasing the park’s natural beauty and historical significance. The delicate and feathery technique adds to the sense of tranquility. For the artist, Shannon, the park holds personal importance as a place where he spent a large part of his childhood playing baseball, roller skating, ice skating, and more, creating cherished memories. Shannon’s father further adds significance to the park, having served as the City Parks Director for over 20 years.

The Studio is Moving

After nearly 9 wonderful years in Artist Alley, my studio location is officially closed as of May 1, 2026. I am currently in the planning stages for a brand-new studio space. While I prepare for this next chapter, I am continuing to paint and am available for new projects.
